Mimic the natural & organic environment
Ecological garden design is about observing and working with the integral characteristics of the site. By selecting appropriate plant material and cultivating it so grows naturally to its full potential, a stronger more diverse system is created. Nancy has the plant knowledge to understand how a garden needs to evolve organically. Healthy soil grows lush plants. Organic and natural practice will feed the microbes and create the precious network below what we enjoy in our gardens.

Nancy has maintained, renovated and improved residential and commercial gardens since 2003. For 7 years she was Head gardener for a small Nursery in Burnaby B.C. She transformed the 1.3 acres there. Her focus was on flow and functionality of space. Ecological considerations and constant attention to habitat and plant care remained her top priority through this extensive design project.
